Official reproductions of Rockwell's 1930's paintings
These 4 lithograph prints of Norman Rockwell paintings were reproduced from originals that Rockwell painted for The Coca-Cola Company. This lithograph set includes a 1931 print called "The Barefoot Boy", showing a boy having a Coca-Cola and a sandwich while his dog watches. Another, "The Old Oaken Bucket", was created in 1932 and shows a boy sitting on a well with a wooden bucket full of bottles of Coca-Cola in his lap. The third reproduction is of a 1934 piece of a Southern scene called "Carry Me Back to Old Virginny". The fourth lithograph, the "Out Fishin'" print from the 1935 calendar shows a farm boy on a tree stump, fishing in the company of his dog and a Coca-Cola.

Additional information about the Archives: In 1939, The Coca-Cola Archives was established from a collection of advertising pieces featuring the Coca-Cola trademark in existence at the time. There was interest in creating a Coca-Cola museum after the company's 50th anniversary in 1936, but the idea did not immediately come to fruition. The first World of Coca-Cola was opened in 1990 at the Underground Atlanta. The current World of Coca-Cola, in Centennial Park was opened in 2007. All of the Archive items available on this site were originally held in The Coca-Cola Company Archives and we hope you enjoy having a piece of history from our Archives in your home.
